The First 100 is a collection of youth sports organizations and non-profits determined, to provide real opportunities to its area youth to end generations of hopelessness, reduce crime amongst youth, and eradicate youth poverty. The First 100 (TF 100) focuses on hope, service, consequences, mindsets and the Value of a Life. TF 100 will demonstrate how you can transform mindsets and communities through accountability and opportunity.

TF 100 success is vital based on current youth poverty rates in major cities like Dallas, Detroit and Philadelphia. According to a Dallas Morning News Nov 27th, 2018 report, Dallas ranked 3rd in youth poverty among major cities. A direct consequence of youth poverty is higher in criminal activity committed by youth causing a threat to public safety. In a press conference on May 21st, 2019 Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall stated, “Dallas Police Department data showed a higher than average arrest of 14 to 18-year-old in the cities most under-served communities.”

TF 100 is an engaging and innovative approach to protect the undeserved youth that is continuously neglected by the city of Dallas, private donors and major corporations. The only entities for last three decades that have faithfully served the under-served are youth sports organizations.

Our goal is to obtain 100 qualifying youth organizations by June 1st, 2019. The benefits for each organization are the following:

TF 100 organizations will receive resources for support services such as:

  • Transportation

  • Staffing of coaches and an administrative assistant

  • Facilities fees and insurance

  • Travel for tournaments and training

Additional benefits include:

  • Access to grants

  • Monthly income opportunities for its youth

  • Monthly revenue for each organization

TF 100 will also nominate at a minimum one individual from each one of its’ participating organizations for the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. The individuals will come from one of the following categories as it relates to an organization: founder, coaches, team moms, or an administrative assistant. The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honor bestowed upon an individual based on their level of service.

Each organization will pay a $270.00 non-refundable commitment  fee.
